This tour follows the valley of the Enguri river to Shkhara glacier near legendary UNESCO site Ushguli. The trail is not difficult, but it is rather long, about 8 km one way. It is ideal to combine it with an overnight stay in Ushguli to explore the historic settlement. However for your flexibility we provide the prices for a 1-day snowshoeing tour (guiding and transfer to and from Ushguli included).

FYI, the overnight stay in Ushguli will add only about 150 EUR PER GROUP of 1-5 people (250 EUR PER GROUP of 6-9 people) as well as  40-45 EUR per person for the gear rental and accommodation and 2 meals at a good guest-house in Ushguli. This arrangement will allow you to do another half-day tour in and around Ushguli before returning to Mestia.
