Private transfer

By ordering transfer with Svaneti Spirit you can be sure that:

  • The car will pick you up at the time and location that is most convenient for you, so you don’t need to wait, look for bus-stations or worry that there won’t be enough seats on the bus.

  • Our drivers are punctual, responsible and drive safely.

  • The cars are equipped with aircon and are in good technical condition.

  • The driver will stop the car whenever and wherever you want, in case you want to have a snack or take a picture.

Transfer cost

The prices are quoted for ONE-WAY transfers, PER CAR (1-3 passengers).

Tbilisi-Mestia (8-10 hours) – 280 EUR

Batumi-Mestia (6 hours) – 190 EUR

Kutaisi\airport-Mestia (5 hours) – 170 EUR

Zugdidi-Mestia (2.5 hours) – 95 EUR

Contact us for prices if you need a bigger vehicle or if you wish to be collected from the city, not from the airport.

FROM TBILISI

By plane

From Natakhtari Airport.

Flight time: 40 min (Tbilisi -Mestia)

Cost: $65 return ticket

The flight depends on the weather and is cancelled in case of low clouds.

Book well ahead, as the planes seat only 19 passengers.

By shuttle mini-bus (“marshrutka”)

From Central Railway Station.

Travel time: 8 hours (Tbilisi – Mestia).

Cost: 50 GEL one way

Buses leave in the morning, at 7-8 am, as soon as they are full. They stop for a break twice, around Senaki and in Barjashi.

By train to Zugdidi

From Central Railway Station, about 8 am.

Travel time: 5.5 hours

Cost: 16 – 22 GEL one way (depending on the carriage class).

Private transfer or marshrutka from Zugdidi.

From Central Railway Station

Travel time: 3-3.5 hours (Zugdidi – Mestia)

Cost: 35 GEL one way

Buses wait for trains arriving from Tbilisi at the Parking outside the Station Building and leave as soon as they are full. They stop for a break in Barjashi.
