One of the most beautiful locations in Svaneti, some 50 km from Mestia, so it makes sense to stay overnight in Nakra and either do some more horse-riding and trekking or take a jeep-tour to Lakitanali plateau.
Utviri pass near summit Shtavler is the saddle between Narka valley and Chuberi valley. The trail goes uphill through beautiful forest, past shepherds’ huts into the alpine meadows studded with tiny lakes. The panoramas around Utviri lake at 2850 m of altitude are an impression not to miss.
